tank protector

thinking of buying this, but wanted to double check it will fit my machine before i hit the button.

I have a 2004 vl800.

Don't protect it... custom paint it

Seems very reasonable at that price £35 ish and yes it will fit. Definitely worth getting either a full or part cover, its surprising how easy the tanks will get scratched up.

I've learned that the hard way... having my son up on the tank few times to "help me park up" resulted in some nice marks on the paint...

but to hell with that... it's my son having fun

I put light scratches on my tank within the first week due to a zip fastener on a jacket, so the tank protector went on almost straight away.
