| Hi guys and first things first, Happy New year Guys ! Thought I'd join the Forum as I'm currently on the lookout for a Marauder and what better place to become a member ( Not just to find a Ride ! ) Nice to see what other riders have done to their rides and maybe meet a few members once i'm on the road. Ridden bikes of all types since I was 15 and after having to sell my last ride ( Forgive me for this ) an '02 Blade, but hey a rides a ride right ! Need to slow myself down a little before I do myself an injury and have always wanted a cruiser and the time is right for me to be looking for the summer. ATB Ian | |

| Hello mate and Good luck in your search. Dealers have to work harder for sales in the winter so hopefully you'll get what you want at a good price | |

The one I'm looking at is a 2006 with 4 thou on the clock and he's asking £3,800 for it. As I'm going in with Hard pennies i'll see how £3,500 sounds to him. fingers Crossed he's still got it when I get my money!

| If you're looking at the one I'm looking it's quite nice, but stock. Not much of a description, no indication when tax and mot runs out. Watch out for these.
Apart from windshield you're not getting much in terms of extras...well apart from that naked chick on the tank :} I reckon there should be better deals to be had.
Extend your search to VL perhaps?

| Sounds like it is Marcin ! I'm keeping my eyes open until I've got the pennies, if something else better turns up that one will be off the list ! | |

| This bike seems a bit pricey for a 2006 model even at £3500, If you have cash wouldn't you be better off buying private? You would get a later model and more for your cash than you would from a dealer, a dealer may offer you a warranty but these are usually worthless. Good luck whichever way you go. | |

| Thanks for the responses guys, Lowey, problem is there aren't that many private sellers out there at the moment and compared to a lot of other dealer bikes, the Mileage/Age/Pricing seems pretty fair to me, and its the model I've been looking for with shorter fenders and Alloys. | |

| Welcome matey, take your time buying your bike, tbh these bikes are pretty much bullet proof so the things to look for are cosmetic standard, extra's and accident damage but in general they are well looked after by owners. Good luck with your search mate and let us know how you get on..
