Hello all,

My name is Rodger, I am living on the Costa Blanca, Spain and I have just bought my first Suzuki 800, it is a 2007 M800. I have been a motorcyclist for many years owning more bikes than I can readily recall. I have in my time owned many different road bikes, trials bikes, enduro bikes, moto cross & road race bikes. Currently I am down to just two machines, the M800 & a K5 GSXR750 track day only bike. I bought the M800 very cheaply because it has a serious mechanical fault that as a competent mechanic I hope to repair myself. I will of course be picking the brains of Suzuki M800 members on the relevant forum here.

Plenty of rust in the drive shaft coupling! So much in fact that it totally failed and is the cause of this bike having no drive. It was still a bargain though as I think a couple of hundred Euro will see it back up and running. Good old eBay.
