| Has anyone added a gear indicator to their M800/M50? I think the C50/C800 comes with one, I was wondering if the switch was on the bike just not hooked up to anything, sorry if this has been discussed before, I had a look but could not find anything. My bike is a 2013 M50. | |

| I have a 2008 C50 which does not come with a gear indicator. I have always bought HEALTECH GI PRO DS TYPE gear position idicators for all my previous bikes and I have one on my intruder. It's a plug and play unit which simply plugs in to the bikes diagnostic socket. No messing about with wires or setting up. They will have a unit to fit your bike. Mine cost £100 last year. Well worth it as far as I am concerned as I always forget which gear I'm in. Google HEALTECH INDUSTRIES and get the correct product code for your bike. Mine is a GPDS - S01 and I believe yours is the same. They come in three different colours. They also sell them on eBay hope this helps | |

| Not something I know about but must agree with Ricky, Healtech are great people. | |

| Or perhaps this one: http://www.ebay.es/itm/PZRACING-GEARTRONIC-ZERO-S1-SUZUKI-SPECIFIC-GEAR-INDICATOR-PLUG-AND-PLAY-/321567148063?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts_13&hash=item4adee5481f They use the same plug&play like the one as Ricky has and i think the M50 (2005-2011) also fit on your bike 9lives | |

| Wow, $160 Canadian dollars for a gear indicator. I was just hoping that since the 2013 C50 had one from the factory it would be a cheap add on. Oh well time to start saving, it may have to wait for a while, just spend $400 on a windshield and still need to buy a backrest to appease the wife. Thanks for the info guys. | |

From what I'm reading Dave it is the only alternative for pre 2005 bikes as they don't have the diagnostic socket which the Healtech etc plugs in to so a good buy for anyone with an older model

| no there is another one HealTech now makes a wheel speed sensor kit ("WSS") which is in essence a universal speed sensor kit for bikes that cannot use the plug-n-tap kits
you would need to buy GIPRO-X-RD + GPX-WSS and it's pretty pricey....
