8" risers fitted to my vz/m 800

Ok got my risers a while ago before I could fit them I had to make a few changes that done I fitted them, I managed to fit them without having to change the brake line or cables (extending) all I did was take of the top yoke and move the cables and brake line so that they run behind instead of at the front I will change the brake line because if I put the bars any further back it would be very tight although I will leave it for now with the bars how they are (leaving enough slack on the brake line) as I would like to change my handlebars in the future so no point getting it done now I'll do it when the need arises, I'm quite happy with how they look and very happy about the height my hands are makes for a far more comfortable riding position could do with a little more pull back once I pick handle bars that I like I can solve that problem giving me the riding position I want without (hopefully) sacrificing the look of the bike (I want it to look cool lol)

Now that is one seriously cool looking bike Morgan.

thanks guys as you can see from the pics it started to rain so I aborted work on it  I still have to adjust the position of the speedo the front of it needs to be down  top pic shows this the best also will have to tidy up the cables the stock bars don't look to bad but really could do with changing. Well there's the start of changing the look of my bike hopefully I'll have it done by the time  we go to France next year hahaha I know Micks getting his bike ready for it come on the bat wing hehehe

Hi Morgan try a set of VL bars,they give you a better pull back.and are 1" so everything fits.Nice bike and colour scheme.

sounds good Alfie thanks for the heads up will have a look at em like everything there's sooooooo many types to choose from lol doesn't make it easy lmao not sure but was maybe thinking drag bars with a pull back on em or possibly z bars........ list go's on at the mo hehehe
