The overheat Warning Light is ALWAYS on even when it is 100% cold.

Hi there, I have recently got a new bike well atleast it is a new bike to me. long story short i started of with 2014 suzukiburgman then to 2006 yamaha majesty. those were the scooters that i have mastered over few years however now i have got myself a 2006 SUZUKI BULIVARD S50 with only 3700 miles on i love the bike alot!. anyways after u start the bike i get the overheating warning light that is on and it stays on all the time dont metter cold or hot. its just always on. does anyone know anything about this kind of situation ? and what is my steps?

NOBODY? AM I THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS ISSUE? i have changed the water temp sending unit to the new one that i have got from suzuki dealer and it is the same issue. the radiator switch works fine it turns on and off when it needs to. i have made 5 hr drive on it and it does not overheat its just the light is always on. even when the engine is cool from overnight. i have bought after market water temp gauge hocked it up and on the gauge it tells me that it is overheated what is going on? any one?

I would check the wiring, maybe a ground wire??

Honestly I have checked it all. Everything seems to in in order and its place. I even got an aftermarket gauge for water temp. Ones I hocked it up it immediately shows that is at 280C even when it's cold so I ordered a new sensor. I plugged that in and i got the same result. As if it is overheating. I tried to bypass the bikes Ground and did a ground straight from the sensor to the bike or even to the negative wire and it gets the same result. But y? It doesn't make any sence. To b clear I unplugged all the bike wires got a new sensor bypass with all new gauge and it shows that it is overheating. I did this while the sensor is installed on the bike. I will try to do it with the sensor off to c what kind of info I'll get. But still. Y?

When the lights on does the fan run at all?
