With the arrival of this new E10 fuel, that these dickhead companies are now making, what am I looking at for the future of my bike now?

I have, through a disability, had to sell off my darling Fazer to help pay for a heavily modified VX800 with forward controls and lowered seat etc, and I have just also spent a further 700 gettign it adjusted and modified a bit more to help me ride it ( I am disabled ) and now I am told that the age of the bike means that its not going to be good for the new E10 fuel.

Now... a few years ago, I had an SZR660 and when teh fuel changed then, I had massive issues with the Carbs gettign wrecked and in the end, I had to spend hundreds before I got it right, sd the fuel had almost wrecked it.

Is this fuel going to do the same?

If there any issues that I need to look out for?

There is a lot of mis-information and simple lies and untruths and frankly, I dont know what is what if I am honest?

I'm assuming you have checked the Government website.
https://www.gov.uk/check-vehicle-e10-petrol

If your petrol vehicle or equipment is not compatible with E10 fuel, you will still be able to use E5 by purchasing the 'super' grade (97+ octane) petrol from most filling stations. Petrol pumps will clearly label petrol as either E10 or E5.
If you accidentally fill up with E10, don't worry too much even if your bike isn't officially compatible with it. The potential problems take time to emerge, so just make sure you refill with E5 when you're next at the pumps

Yes, I have checked, however Suzuki themselves have told me thatI MUST NOT USE E10

I have of course tried the GOV site and that too says that bikes before 1992 then NON BIO MUST BE USED, and its a 1990 model so again, thats telling me that I muist not use E10

Also, the reason  Iam asking this, is simply because the other day, I was out on a ride on my Honda, and I had plenty of fuel thankfully, but we went to a fuel station and it ONLY had E10... Or diesel of course, but there was no premium.

Ok, I had a good half a tank, so no worries, we will go to the next station... Also NO premium, only the E10

The 4th place and that also had no premium, but now I{ was starting to worry as I had been running about for a fair few miles and it was running really low.

I had no choice but to use E10 and sure, it should be fine, of course it should.

Now, this is surely bad timing, but the bike is now running rotten, its ticking over at 2500 and its always been a ridiculously reliable 1000k for about 4 years and NEVER done even so much as a flutter either side of that, and now its hunting and fannying about.

Yes, almost definitely bad timing but in 4 years and the very same day on the very same ride that I put E10 in, it starts to play up???? Thats not right.

The engine also sounds a little raspy, and again its been running flawless and sweet for 4 years without anything even close to a burp and now its farting like its been on a havy bender all night, and then overdone a hot curry and lost it at the backend.

Sure, I am of course exaggerating this but it does definitely run poorer.

I will for the moment put it down to it being a filling station in the niddle of nowhere and so that the tanks might be iffy, but its still an off-putting thing.

I guess the issues I had with the SZR when they changed the petrol before ended up costing me more than anyone could imagine both directly and indirectly, and I guess thats playing on my mind now too!
