| Hi I am in the process of making a rad cover for winter use out of an old metal shelf that was lying around, this will then let me take the chrome one off till all the salt and muck has gone. This is my prototype in early stages. I need to put mesh on yet. | |

| Great job Alfie, this is really coming along great mate. I don't know about winter use only so as to keep your chrome one nice, this looks like a really great job. I am really impressed with your design and how it looks. | |

| Cheers the main reason for making it was the winter, but after looking at the chrome plated one after one season I will be making this to last, what a joke foriegn chrome is.Must admit I check around and try and find my materials as scrap (to some people) as they throw it away, and recycle it to my benifit.(nothing to do with the ozone layer)it's the wallet. | |

| Looks great Alfie, love the ingenuity of this mod. The kick out at the bottom is very stylish. I will have a try a doing one myself over the winter as I am so impressed with what you have done. I have been without a welder for a while and don't weld enough any more to justify buying one. I can get hold of plastic reasonably easily so will probably make one out of that instead. Great job mate | |
