Well after 2 hours of thinking and removing various parts of the bike. I have given up on the speaker installation until further notice.

The instructions are crap. It doesn't even explain how to plug the speaker to the amp.

I can't work out the wiring for one. It came with a plug for what i'm guessing is a Harley so it looks like i'll have to slice wires.

I can't make my mind up as to where to mount the amp to reduce wire clutter. I'm thinking at the minute I'll be putting it into a spare tool roll I have and putting that back on the bike below the windscreen. Therefor running the cables into it from the speakers. That way I only have to worry about one cable from the battery area to power the bike. It was going to be in behind a frame cover but Id rather not run two speaker cables that far and have to hide them.

I also have no idea how to get power to the amp without having it permanently "ON". My Current idea is to buy a 12v twin socket from ebay. One socket for my phone, one socket for the amp to be powered from. I'd have that wired directly to the bike and on a switch. That would help in that i wouldn't need to splice any of the bikes electrics.

Its actually being returned now. Not happy with the condition of the amp chrome. Also one of the connectors is broken. Looks like its a different system for me.

I am having trouble getting my head around the issues that you are having, mine was simple. My amp is definitely not chrome like yours, it is grey. I ran my power lead to the spare power port in the headlight bucket. Sounds like you have something different to the rest of us?

Yeah, seems odd. But mine was the PLMCA 10.
Wonder if there's a big difference?

well i returned it and bought the shark system.

The 100w looks easier to fit. More like the way i used to install car amps and stereos' The 200w seems more catered to the Harley market as it has plug and play adapter. The speaker design is awesome though.

On another note. The Shark is now going back as well. lol. The speakers where just to wide for where i wanted them. Felt more of a quality system though i have to admit.
