| That head buffeting is coming from below the shield. Some lowers will stop that. There are lots of threads on the forum for self made lowers. Really does look good on your bike. | |

| 4 wheelie bins? Doesn't everybody Sim? We have 5 if you include the stupid new little bugger they delivered today. You have to put every scrap of food waste in it, then as often as you like, transfer it to the garden waste bin. I reckon after a couple of days of this sunny weather we're having, the bloody thing will pong so bad, it will walk round the side of the house itself! | |

| Good advice from Tex, fit some lowers. Thats a nice looking screen, one of the best I have seen for the newer M model. | |

| Nice looking screen, try and tilt it back a bit so it flows with the angle of your forks to see how that feels.Pic 2 shows it to be upright, obviously personal preference. | |

| Often people think that when you get some buffeting that you need to make the screen more upright but in reality the opposite is often true. The lower angle and lowering the height will help loads | |

| Thanks for the comments guys. Will experiment some more with height/angle of screen for optimum setting.
Not sure if lowers would look right on the M800, are they available to purchase? | |

| That looks like a really nice screen. With a small screen it seems like less angle gives the best results as they are not about sending the wind over your head, they are are to keep the wind off your chest. So you need to find the happy place where it is off your chest but not in your face. | |

| Hi again, thank you for all you comments and I have been experimenting with the screen position. As the fork legs increase in girth as you go lower this limits the lowest setting of the screen. However this only made things considerably worse and so I have found that the best position seems to be to have the screens clamps at the top of the fork legs and the angle of the screen adjusted so it is slightly more raked back than the angle of the forks. It is now fairly comfortable at speeds upto 60mph. Above this things do get a little more windswept but hey, thats not what cruisers are for!!! Once again cheers and be careful out there. | |
