Just buying Dutch reg vx800 highlander for uk use. DVLA want to know if light dips right or straight down .
Light is square type in fairing.
They also want to know if dual marked speedo. fitted?
1997 model in 'pretty purple' as wife called it, with squire sidecar on.
Any info much appreciated.
Seller is supposed to be doing this and MOT /Tax but DVLA site is very unhelpful and I have sold my old bike so have 'empty garage syndrome' with rally season fast approaching!

Dual marked speedo is because it is European and they work in kilometres and we work in miles. so they would want to know if it has the miles on as well, that's all.
Ask or get the seller to test it. If he can't, ell them the lights dip straight down as most bikes actually do that, The MOT test would show if it doesn't, not sure how that would be changed.

If the light is incorrect it is easily replaced with a UK headlight to sort it out.
