| As you all know, been having dramas with this windscreen business. So took all your advice and looked at some lowers. Wasn't to keen on the home made perspex ones. Loved the National Cycle Chrome Lowers. Did not like the PRICE. So thought bugger it, lets go with the home made perspex ones, like what Alfie made. Went to my local DIY shop and could only get 2mm perspex, ok then that will have to do. Looked for some angle iron for the brackets, when i saw this Some sort of Aluminum facia. Hmmmm I thought that might just do the trick with out having to piss around drilling holes and making brackets. (my drills broke ya see) Plus i reckon it will not look far off the chrome lowers. So here's what happened. All in all cost me £15. That made well happy. Did it work??? It was defo a lot better. Still get buffeting but not as bad. Still not sure if the windscreen angle is correct for me. Or if the lowers are at the right angle, or if they are thick enough. Think i could of done with getting 2mm facia. As the top of the blade dose move a bit. Getting there though. If i don't have it cracked by the weekend, then ill be selling the lot.Cause at the mo I'm not really feeling it. Hope this helps some one. | |

| All you can do is run the lowers and screen at the same angle as the forks & stop the screen hight at roughly the same height as the bridge of your nose (as a rule of thumb). Or . . . shine the metal up and lacquer it to keep the shine. It could be good if you sprayed them. By the way, Bloody good job. | |

| Looks like a good job matey but the picture below that I have copied from above shows the top of the support to close to the bottom of the upper section of the forks. It will hit it when the forks go up and down. Also would be worth having a bit of thin rubber between the mount and maybe the mounting bracket to avoid any possible scratches over time. I also agree on a good job done Arron and good explanation and write up | |

| Nice job Arron I agree with crash on the bits of rubber between the clips and fork uppers/shrouds, covers, stainless steel things to stop them scratching, if you get pipe clips they have rubber around the back already, no probs on them hitting though? it's the fork leg (ally bit) that goes inside the lower shroud thing when going up and down. | |
