| Very smart mate, How much are they with the discount? I've got my eye on a set for mine on Ebay. They are the same idea as yours except they dip in at the bottom on both sides for the M800. I guess that's cos it doesn't have the foot boards like the C800. I'd buy them if they weren't £160 inc p+p and I wasn't a tight arse! |

| I got some of these from Custom Cruisers earlier this month. Very strong bars, which means they're not very flexible when fitting. I found the only way I could get all the bolts to line up was to fit the bottom bolts finger tight, then the top ones after (not forgetting the plastic spacers) | |

| Well today I bought & fitted a pair of Renegade engine bars to my C800. We bought them from Mike at Custom Cruisers for £145-. I fitted them this afternoon but encountered a few problems. If you have a 2010 C800 LO as I do then the bars will fit but you have to forget the instructions & virtually 'wing it' yourself as the instructions are not suitable for this model exactly. The plastic spacers go on the long black bolts at the top of the bar not on the top & bottom bolt on the nearside. I loosely bolted up the top mounts & moved onto the bottom ones, when removed I noticed that the nearside mount was ok but not the right one as it wanted to fit exactly where the footboards are mounted! So I unbolted the front footboard bolt & loosened the rear mount also to enable the right mounting bolt bracket to nuzzle upto the frame & after a bit of a struggle managed to get the bolt into the frame through the footboard bracket. Then with a few of the spare washers from the fixing kit I managed to finally tighten up all the fixing bolts on the engine bars & then stand back & admire the sight of a decent set of engine bars on my bike. All in all a very sturdy fit but I do feel you need to dry fit first as I did to ensure you get the correct fit & do not go by the instructions supplied with the bars as they are to say the least 'economical' with information to say the least!!! Rosie likes the thickness of the bars, so she said, as they make the bike now look 'spot on', can't say much more than that myself, 'spot on'!!! :bike4: | |

| Nice one Peter, always good to have any minor issues ironed out for perspective buyers, glad the fit worked out so easy seeing as how it was not quite as described for your model as the instructions would have had one think. Engine bars do need to be spot on so I am glad that yours are. | |
