| I am not sure of the prices without doing a search but they are not very expensive & it'll definately save the back of your tank from light scratches from zips & buckles and poppers from your cloths | |

I've just fitted one of these, how do you wash the bike, do you take it off? I really dont want it sitting wet on the tank, have you had any issues?

| No issues this end at all. When I wash my bike I just wash it as I would if it wasn't there and when I am drying it I just un clip the two side clips on each side that are under the tank and dry off any drips that have got under it. I do not find that very much water gets under it at all to be honest but I do give that area a good amount of polish that I basically just leave under it without polishing off the excess every 3 or 4 months. | |

| Thanks, I'll whack some polish on it at the weekend. Shouldn't be to many issues or it would be easily removable.
Still not convinced on the look but the end and sides of the tank was starting to get fine scratches after only a few hundred klms.
