Hi all, looking for experience with Rotating the standard vl800 rearward, thereby bringing them closer and lower.

Obviously all the attached articles would need rotating back to forward including the screen.

Question is the cables, is there enough length to allow for some rotation.

I think the cables got shorter after 06, so you should be ok.
I just about got away with the original cables with my risers.
Just make sure your bar ends don't hit anything on full lock and they're torqued up tight.

I think you can also get pullback risers.
Have a search on here.
................................... My mistake .... 2009 they shortened the cables.
