| Looks great, thats sort of the shape and position the bars on the M800 have. I find the M very comfortable, and I think that looks very comfortable too. Are you quite a tall rider? | |

No, not tall about 5' 10" in the old money. Prefer to be leaning foward than sitting bolt upright.

| That's a nice clean look, the grips will finish that off a treat I think. | |

| Managed to get out yesterday between the storms.
Bike rides very differently, much more aggressive feeling and the steering is much sharper. Definitely gone from a bike you sit on and steer to a bike you ride.

| Got out today for my first real ride since fitting the bars.
What a tranformation, 250klms mix of country sweeping roads and main roads through the hills outside Melbourne. In a nutshell, it's a different bike, ride position, handling and comfort are all totally different.
The risers and bar even seem to break up the airflow so I don't think the screen will be going back on.

I've had the exact same experience putting lower and more forward bars on my wifes little S40 / Savage , new machine entirely. So no I've got so excited I've gone out and bought some 1" x 1.8mm stainless tube , to make my own bars. Want that flat-top look, innit great ?! Did you also notice how much less bumpy the roads are when you have a bit of a crouch ? So us southern hemisphere guys Know Stuff : ) , with you on this hymn sheet , definitely !
