Greetings fellow mid-size V-Twin petrolheads ! I am 21 years old with 29+ experience , not new to two wheels as I built my first bike from rusty tubes and a scooter engine back in 1975 using hand tools and a horrible old welder.

My wife of 25 years started riding seriously in the last year and she has 3 bikes and I have just the 6.

But most rides are either dual sport out in the Karoo , or on a mismatched pair of Suzuki 800's , mine is a violated and chopped VZ800 'Rauder and her's an American import S50 Boulevard which I am banned from modifying.

I am a recovering sport bike owner as well as a recovering KTM rider , and have found a new home chilling out on these excellent 800's. I used to have a 1400 Intruder and am still constantly amazed how little performance gap there is between the 800 and 1400 , in fact , these 800's haul from a stoplight better than most cruisers, what incredible bikes.

I SO do not EVER wanna ride a Harley , these 800's have the capacity to become 'lifer's' , I am sure many of you will agree. Having a few bikes in my stable, I find it's the 800's that get used the most, and are the hardest to get off. YEAH ! Can see why others love 'em too.

I am a member of the MIG Forum too , but it looks like I need some company who understand how to ride on the correct side of the road.
