| I would really like to get some ape Hangers but I can't be arsed to mess around with changing cables as they got shorter after 2008. So if anyone knows or finds out which make and model so to speak will fit the C800 2009 onwards I would really appreciate the info. The main problem that I can see is that every make will probably be different to some extent with regards to how wide they are at the base, the top and the pullback. So just because a particular size fits on someone's bike it does not mean for a fact that they will fit on someone else's if they are a different brand but to be honest any info will be gratefully received to start me off in my search for them.

| OK now we all know but after a bit of browsing I have come up with the following 12'' ape's on normal risers from 2009 is a no go but 12'' will fit all models up to & including 2008 M & C800's. With the 2009 models, M & C800 the following will fit on standard risers 1" Diameter, 32" Wide, 10" High, 7" Pullback | |

| Have a look here at the 3 different sized ape hangers, for the bigger rises they say cables needed but for the 10'' they don't

| Thanks Crash some good info there I would however suggest that you don't buy from them as the postage is a killer but a really good start. I have also been looking about and it would definitely seem to be spot on info about the 10'' height on my model year. all I gotta do now is find a UK site that sell's the same bars and I will order them | |

| I'm looking forward to seeing these if you get them as I might be interested too. Do you think it is difficult to swap over the switches, throttle etc to the new bars? I wonder how much higher the 10" apes would be compared to stock bars pushed up? Course with purpose designed higher bars the hand position should be more comfortable than stock bars adjusted as they are designed to be used in the 'up position' Will watch developments with interest. | |

As soon as I get some I will post pic's hopefully within the next week or so. As for actually swapping the bars over including all switches and grips 20/30mins would be all it would take & it's very easy. However when I fitted my kuryakyn grips I didn't glue the the left one on because I new at some stage I would be changing bars but if I recall correctly you still have stock grips. So you would need to change the grips as you will need to cut the left grip off! - Bluesman wrote:

I think the stock bars have about a 6'' or possibly 7'' rise on them | |
