| Real good thing to have on a long ride, or if you suffer from a bad back at times. I loved mine before I changed my seat to a single seat for rider & pillion. | |

| looks like a good bit of kit, been thinking about a back rest myself, but struggling to find anything to fit the M800 2010 onwards model, this says it will fit but unsure as the rear seat is different to the one in the pics, any ideas guys ?

| Thats a good find Dave! Finding any sort of seating accesories for the 2010> M800 is a bit of a chore IMO as it all seems to be a bit limited. I wouldn't mind getting one myself actually, so let me know how you get on with it if you get one ok? As for your query, it says it fits the 2013 M800. They probably used any one of the possible bikes it fits just to model it. Drop them an email if you're in any doubt. | |

| Have you guys got a photo of the M800 with the rear seat removed and showing the fixing bracket for the front seat in place? The VL only uses 2 of the fixing holes in that back rest, the two central ones looking at it, so there's a possibility it would fit? | |

| I can't see it fitting, earlier models maybe? Not later ones though, it just seems to be set up wrong, does the seat come of with the ignition key on later models? Rather than being bolted on. | |

| With the key, then pull the seat lock wire. | |

| Has Skid says, you take the side panel off via the key and pull the wire (pardon the pun) You can just see the cable going into the top side of the bracket, which in turn releases the seat! But I'm with you, I don't think it will fit :( | |
