I have one! in mirror finish, they work really/surprisingly well, massive field of view that messes with your head at first. You feel like your face is exposed but no wind hits it!! Got a bell one from ebay the cheapest place I could find and the attaching buttons are on sliders so they fit all 3 button lids Bubble Visors 1218875559

Seems like a good idea to keep it in the saddle bags, just in case.
I like the fact that popping that on in shitty weather gives good weather protection and still keeps the full open face view.  Bubble Visors 3498837457
I only wear a full face when the weather is really bad, so that would do away for the need for it.

I like the thought of open face helmets and that would be a nice occasional add on. I do own one but very rarely use it, the lack of protection worries me.

What is that photo just above. Is it a stand alone add on to an open face or an add on to the bubble visor higher up and where is the link for it?

It's flip-up attachment that pops onto your lid & visor so that you can lift the visor - ebay link

That company also does bubble visors from £12.50 in a range of colours - I fancy an orange one to match my new lid
