| The previous owner of my XC had sawn off the brake and clutch levers, (maybe he thought it looked cool, or more likely they got damaged when he dropped it a couple of times!). So tonight I replaced them with new ones. Here's the cheap Chinese replacements I got.... A pretty good copy! £33 for both, delivered free from China. I think victory wanted £130 plus shipping. I won't bore you with pix and "how to" write up, as it's not the same bike most of you ride. But overall it's a great improvement.... Cleaned and lubed the various moving parts, and with that little bit of extra leverage, the very heavy clutch is a bit easier! | |

| Looks like the previous owner chewed the ends of Mal. It'll look much better with full levers and as you say, a little easier on the 'heavy' clutch. | |

| A longer lever always gives you an advantage over a short/shortened one Mal but the fad for short reach levers seems to be catching on even in the cruiser world as you've found out. | |
