Bike not starting

I am new to the bike scene and I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction with my problem. I went to start my bike and when I turned the key on I had no electric to anything no headlight, no nothing on the bike except the tail lights. I have checked everything as far as fuses in the fuse box and the fuses in the relay and they are all good. Any Ideas?

Did you turn the ignition key too far? The ignition switch has three positions, off, ignition on, and then a third position that lights the parking lights and lets you take the key out.

I have gone through all of the key positions and more than once. I have had no previous problems starting it. I should make a clarification. I have ridden bikes before but it has been many years ago. The reason I said new is because I had been out of it so long.

battery

I took the battery to a bike garage and they load tested it and got a zero reading even though with just a voltage tester it read the proper voltage. I have a new battery coming and am hoping it corrects the problem..

Funny old things batteries.   I had a 125 and my friend had a 125, her battery wouldn't work, swapped batteries,
both worked fine.

Yes it did. Even though the voltage was good the load test was 0.

Ha ha.
That's the way I learned about the parking lights. A few hours and I had to get electric help from a car.
I just have an 14Ah battery and I am struggeling late summer/autumn. Down to 5-10C and if it doesn't fire at third try, it's over

Wondering to get a 16A batt, or maybe get a outtake to top it up from Aug until season stop.
