| Has anyone moved there number plate? Was just doing some measuring for sissy bags and where the number plate is would mean either a luggage rack that will be above the current plate, or moving the number plate | |

| I am not exactly sure how your model is setup as far as brackets & fixings go but having just glanced at the rear end of a VL I would probably: Remove the licence plate from the mount. Remove the mount. remove the large rectangular red reflector between the indicators and fix the plate there. I would then buy a couple of cheap led lights like this LINK to illuminate the plate. Hope this helps. | |

| It almost seemed like the 2000-2004 models had the licence plate put on as an after thought, must agree that looks so much better. I was just reading that number plate don't even have to have white light to illuminate them in the UK, any colour is exceptable | |
