| It is a very cheap price for a screen, and it looks like a very cheap screen I think you could be disappointed when it is delivered. Of cause the choice is your, you pay your money and take your chance. I personally would look for something which is better quality. | |

| Hi Chris, its your choice m8 but personally I believe you get what you pay for, that's why I bought one specifically made for my M800. I was lucky though, bid for one described as 'as new' on ebay, won it at £137 , a new one would have cost me £269 . Might be worth keeping your eye on ebay for a second hand one, good luck | |

| I once owned one that was fitted to the bike as that one is, far to much flexibility. The one I own now has four mounting points, two on the bars and two under the triple tree and it extremely sturdy due of this. | |

| Hi Chris, Not seen any screens of that 'brand' before. Easy to fit might not mean 'serviceable in use'. Whilst the screen section looks OK, it is the set up of the fasteners on the stay rods that could be the weak point. I think the consensus of possibly holding out for a decent make, second hand - if you are on a budget might be your better option. I managed to get a second hand ERA screen for my VX & got it a good bit under new price. The screen had previously been on a GSX-1400, but was easy to fit on my VX .... & I've been pleased with the results. It is more of a 'roadster' style screen, and not the traditional 'cruiser' style, but I believe ERA do cruiser style screens. The ERA screen only uses two fastening points on the handlebars - but this has proved very secure in service. As others say - you tend to get what you pay for. My F6C has a Givi screen which has bespoke brackets that pick up from the fork legs (Between the fork clamps) - & is very rigidly fixed & trouble free .... but the brackets cost more than the screen set you are considering ! Hope that might help. Yam | |

| I've got one of these on my C800, Fixes on the bars and under the triple tree, quite sturdy too. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/U-S-STYLE-CUSTOM-SCREEN-SUZUKI-M800-INTRUDER/290709998608?_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D24197%26meid%3D1806309e3ad74a7db1004b45c2adbe04%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D10285%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D10%26sd%3D280827797224 | |

| Agreed to trying to get one with four fixing mounts rather than two, like that one. You might get lucky with a second hand one... | |

| The only problem with this wonderful pastime/hobby/form of transport that motorcycling is, after market accessories are very expensive., so it is very easy to talk yourself into buying cheap inferior products. I think it is always a better idea to hang on until the product you want is affordable to oneself, rather than buying a cheap version which you could be disappointed with. Best of luck with your choice of screen. | |

If you want cheap and nasty then pay less than £130, if you want a screen that is upto the job thats another matter Or Look for a good second hand one, they do occasionally come up | |

| to the 'if you are on a restricted budget - then wait for a decent second hand one coming up at a reasonable price'. As others have said - it is cheaper in the long run than buying a budget item that you end up being disappointed with, then have to buy something else to get where you wanted to be ! .... all you need to do is wait ..... & sometimes the end of the riding season (which is approaching) yields opportunities to pick up second hand parts. | |
