| Hi chaps
After some help as always. I'm interested in fitting the Spike Cone Filter and was looking at various methods of fitting. Was also looking how the Hurican filter is fitted and wondered if the adaptor that you need to fit it, would work in conjuction with the spike kit. The Spike kit would not be the M109 kit, thus meaning i could by a single cone. Negating the need to mod the conector from the bike to the cone. In order to work this out i need dimensions of the Hurican adaptor and the 90 degree pipe for the Spike filter to see if they would marry up. Would anybody out there be able to help me with this request.

Hurican adaptor
Just thought it would be an easer way for the likes of me to carry out this mod that dosnt envolve to many tools, or brain cells.
Thanks as always | |

| I wouldn't think they'd marry up at all Arron? The 90 Degree pipe for the spiked air filter is square, Thunder Mnfg do a similar style filter to the spike which marries up to the adaptor, The Tornado. http://www.thundermfg.com/store/index.php?l=product_detail&p=26 | |

| Thanks for your help Simbo. I'm trying to find out if the diameter of the 90 degree pipe, is the same as the adaptor on the Hurricane. I'm hoping the pipe will be the same size both ends, with maybe a flange for it to clamp in. Hope im making sense. And it wouldn't matter which filter kit I bought, as long as the pipe was round. So I could possibly only have to by a single kit. Saving pennies. | |

| I could be wrong but if it did fit wouldnt that mean the filter used if it was like Simbo's and Mr Intruders would face side ways rather than facing forward? | |

| Thanks again Sim for taking the trouble to help. Crash as the adaptor is circular I would like to think it could face anyway. The reason I'm looking at this as a possible option is because a its a little bit different, plus I think the adaptor would add to the look and finish.

| I've looked at a few car induction filters for mine, they come in various sizes by the use of rubber adapters, They're about £20, come with a chrome end, and different colours too. | |
