| Huge thanks to Simbo for coming over today to do the final part of the mod. Watching him file the holes out made me realise how easy it was and I shouldn't have been too concerned with cocking it up. Good to see you again mate. Appreciate the help. Also a huge thanks to Dave (Mr Intruder) and anyone else who contributed with advice on this mod. It's gonna sit over night just to ensure there is no leaking from the drive. Can't wait to give it a ride. I'm gonna keep the drive naked and make sure I like the mod before modifying the false swing arm and fitting it again. | |

| Just been out for a short ride. First impressions are very good :) Like said by others there may be a slight reduction in acceleration when setting off say from lights but saying that it's wet and I wasn't giving it too much welly. It definitely feels smoother and from the short ride feels very enjoyable. I had the TRE turned off so maybe that had a little impact too as I do think that makes a difference. Dunno if I imagined it but gear changes seemed smoother? Less clunk. I didn't go too far but did get on the bypass and upto 75 where I could tell the lower revs. I didn't want to push it any further because of the wet and fairly high winds. All in all I'm impressed and can't wait to get on a decent ride :) | |

| Really pleased you are liking it, the lack of clunk in the gears would be solely down to you not attaining the higher revs that you would previously of reached before changing gear. Bit of a shit day to try out a new thing on the bike but when you can really try it out you will be shocked at how long the gears now are. Very glad your impressed on your initial finding. | |

I thought you might be It's like having that sixth gear, 800 riders have always looked for but was never there, And to keep it as nippy as it was before your just riding in a gear lower but with the same revs. | |
