| Pop into your local Suzuki dealer and they will probably get the parts for you easily at a reasonable price. If not try here: Suzuki800 - LINK You will find the additional part required in post 1 here: External - LINK | |

| IT IS DONE...for sure a mod that is worth doing it...i think the bike should be like this from the factory...i drove a little today with new drive installed, was very cold and very windy but....the gears are way longer and the engine is more relaxed!!! so now im waiting for a little sun to go for a longer drive!!1 i want to thank all the guys from this forum for the time and effort they put in here to explain everything!!!! | |

| That is great to read Chuckie, as Sim says, welcome to the club. I love to read when members have completed that mod in particular as anyone that hasn't done it simply can not imagine for a moment how good this modification is & how it changes the bike so much for the batter in so many way's. An Intruder rider without the mod done would be overwhelmed by a quick ride on a bike with it done as it is like riding a different bike. | |

| weekend 500 km drive - superb, i often find myself at 100 km and still in 4th gear!!! not a slow ride, but still and average fuel consumption 5l/100 km...its worth any penny. the guy that did the modification made some pictures, please see link below:
