Right away I have to admit I have no idea how to insert a Face Book link.

Pipes now chopped

Pipes now chopped <a href=Pipes now chopped DSC08122_zps249e5ed4" />

And this where they were before the chop

Shouldn't attract too much attention -  hmmm !!!

I've tried it a few times - it worked about 80% of the time, the other time it said "content not available, may have been removed or you may not have permission to view" - dunno, I'm not too FB literate.  If I need to know anything, I ask my 18 year old stap-daughter !!

Got the bike back today

Pipes now chopped <a href=Pipes now chopped IMG_20150115_142539_0_zps3e120ffa" />

Not sure whether I've gone a bit too far (but as Ferris Bueller says "You can NEVER go too far!!") - now wondering whether I should have left them back to the axle centre.  Won't know for certain till I have all the bodywork back on - that always seems to change the look.  If worst comes to worst, I can always glue the old bits back on !!

Pipes now chopped <a href=Pipes now chopped DSC08435_zps33da451e" />

He had to knock up an airbox cover to sort out the carb - classy !!

Pipes now chopped <a href=Pipes now chopped DSC08436_zps55932ecc" />

And for those of you who had difficulties viewing it on Facebook, it's now on YouTube

Great sound, sound like my old er6f with imported v&h. Should scare a few kids!! put up new pics when the bike is complete and will let you know whether you should still the old pipes back together or not!!
In case you don't have a better option I found magic erasers from 99p world work great for getting the blue of the white walls

Just been looking at it in the garage - reckon it's gonna be OK.

Re the tyres - at the moment I was leaving the blue on as I'm cleaning the spokes off & there's shit everywhere.  I was going to go for hot soapy water - if that fails, I'll splash out on magic erasers.  I take it you mean the old Staedtler plastic erasure types ?

No they been advertised on tv, they look and feel like bits of foam mattress you simply wet them and scrub they really do work like magic, big shops like asda etc sell then for £3/£4 but the ones from 99p or pound land are the same and believe me hot soapy water and a scoarer just don't cut it when it comes to getting that blue crap off.

Bike looks great, loving the way it's going. Pipes now chopped 2170595768
The blue walls are cool to. Pipes now chopped 852880  On a serious note, I can't remember having an issue removing the blue or needing anything out of the ordinary to removing it. Just washed off with a little help from a brush.

I believe it's the original baffles.  The exhaust guy had them out & stuffed them with wadding
