| So i went ahead and ordered this a while ago. Original one i ordered from Ebay (Hong Kong) but when i received it it didnt fit the bars. Seller refunded me without sending it back. Second one is the exact same product only i ordered from a UK supplier. This one was made correctly and fit just fine. It is held on with a hex grub screw in the bottom, and comes with an allen key to fit it. Obligatory Loctite on the screw and job jobbed. Very happy with it, seems pretty accurate and it looks just like the main speedo, almost looks like a factory accessory. Gotta love dem cheap mods. | |

| Ha Ha not quite. I put a thermometer and clock of nearly the same style on my Cruiser years ago but as my bike got busier, I gave them both to a fellow member. My apes didn't have room as the bottom bar was narrower than my previous bars. Saying that though, I like your thermometer better than the one I had, much nicer & easier to read face. If I had your one, I wouldn't of gave it away, very nice. | |

I bought the sissy bar with luggage rack for £60 for my last bike which held up well and didnt rust. Then i bought some passenger floorboards for £35, the rubber pad came loose but stuck back down with gorilla glue and that was fine ever since too. Hopefully the thermometer can stand some rain and not get condensation in it. Looks pretty water tight so we will see. | |
