Hi Rattler must admit have not really noticed,if anything I would of thought it would of gone up a bit, bear in mind I have a fuel processor as well which makes the bike run a bit richer, hope this helps.

It all relative, by adding the K&N you will be increasing the the potential of the engine and exhaust system to run better at the point that the power commander has been adjusted!
From there on in its all down to your wrist, and whether you are tapping in to the power increase.
No one single mod will add a lot to the power of the bike or the fuel that it uses but a bike that has exhaust, FI controller & K&N will have a definite power increase and potential for extra fuel to be used over the stock bike.
I use copious amounts of fuel but I ride the bike within the peak power range most of the time, I am not very good at plodding along.

Might be worth thinking about adding a "Timing Retard Eliminator" as well!

Been trying to find out exactly what the TRE does but can't find much on it. I found a GiPro one but it comes with a gear indicator. Are they available without?

Yes they are available without a gear indicator, I have a "Healtech X Tre ST-01" fitted to my bike.
Its called a TRE because your bike runs from the factory with the timing retarded
Basically what the t.r.e. does is it bypasses some of the restriction placed on a lot of modern bikes in part due to emission laws
It gives a smother throttle response
Improves full throttle response and acceleration
Removes top speed limiter
Simple operation that works out of the box
works with or without tuning modules
Installs in about 30 minutes

Here's the powerband for, I think, an M800:

I got mine direct from Healtech nearly two years ago but they now have an on line retailer selling for them. I think you can get them from else where as well but I have never looked. They do not list the M or C 800 for the one without the gear indicator but it is definitely Xtre ST01 that you need if no gear indicator is required. I emailed there tech guy Norbert earlier today in Hungary to ask him why they are not listed for the bike with the gear indicator not required and he said he will update the list as it was a mistake on the site.

I would say that all the mods make a difference, none make a massive difference but they all make a difference.
I test road a brand new bog standard C800 from the retailer after I had installed the Vance & Hines Cruzers, FI Module, K&N Filter and the TRE out of curiosity to see the difference properly as its kind of hard to judge from memory as you install extras.
My bike with all 4 mods done, blew the stock bike away, simple as that!
