| Not sure if your with me on this simbo,on the front carb there is a switch that activates when you get sort of throttle full open position, cant figure whether its a rev limiter switch or it signals ecu to advance or whatever, only thing in manual is disconnect to remove carbs cos its attached to um | |

| Well the part code for the switch is 1363038E00 and is described as a 'Throttle Position Switch' and it is on the wiring schematic (see below) and its wired into the igniter (black wire), but can I heck as like find out what it does!!! I have found this photo on the web, the switch looks like a normal micro-switch, and it looks like it is activated by the throttle cam on the carb when it is fully open, rev limiter of some sort?? I will keep digging :) | |

| Hi Andrew,i was thinking same as you with the rev limiter, looking at the wiring diagram you put on it looks like the other wire goes to ground on the light circuit.I am going to post this pic i took aswell so i know im doin this photobucket thing right? | |

| Some say it's for advancing the ignition on full throttle, some say it's a california bike and for evaporation purge system, some say it's a restrictor? Personally? I've no idea | |
