| Still got a wee bit of money left over from unwanted Christmas pressy and have always fancied heated grips. I have found the following 2 types and would like anyone's opinion or other options
1. Heat Demon External Grips

2. Oxford Premium Heated Grips

| I've got the Oxford touring ones on my Bandit (same as those probably) and they work well, they switch off automatically after 10 mins if you forget and leave them on, Mick & Alan have the Oxford Cruiser heated grips and they suit the cruiser better imo because they have chrome ends and a chrome roller wheel for the varying temps. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Oxford-Cruiser-25mm-HOT-GRIPS-Motorbike-Motorcycle-Heated-HotGrips-/401013760490?hash=item5d5e4861ea:g:fq8AAOSw5VFWJgMC | |

If you go with the internal fitment Heat Demons, they fit inside the bars so you wouldn't need to bin your fancy grips mate. Martin ( Smart ) has these fitted to his bike and raves about them. Lepidge - The Oxford Cruiser grips are a larger diameter than the touring ones .... suitable for 1" bars. Sim is right, they have a chrome rotary controller which is very easy to use with a gloved hand. Wouldn't be without mine !

- Might want to consider these....... I fitted them a few years ago and they are great, a really easy fit and you can keep your original grips. Wired to the 12v output in the headlight shell. heated grips - Symtec Heated Grips Fitted To VZ800
Hi Grob Thanks for your detailed install guide. It is really helpful. I think I am going to go for the new version of the Heat Demon as per link below from `Windingroads`. I think the only difference is the new 4 setting controller switch for the handle bar thus not needing the high/low switch! http://www.windingroads.co.uk/shop/product.php/896/heated-grips-heat-demon

Hi Sim, now it's my turn to give you a hand : http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/symtec-heat-demon-metric-internal-heated-grips http://www.ebay.com/itm/Symtec-211056-Heat-Demon-H-D-Grip-Warmers-/231792791012 http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-2015-Heat-Demons-Grip-Heater-Harley-Black-Right-Mount-All-Models-Bar-Sizes-/371119436719 Or one of this must cheaper and i think will do the job, of course not so "technical pro functions, wires, cables and good looking" : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-Motorcycle-ATV-Handlebar-Grips-Heated-Wrap-Hand-Warmer-W-Rocker-Switch-/361106978341?hash=item5413a73625:g:up8AAOSwBP9UXHjK

| I have finally found time to fit the heaters. Quite straight forward to install but a few little amendments made,
The heaters are great and I now think I will use heated grips from now on. Level 3 out of 4 is just about right as level 4 can be a bit too warm!
