| I bought a 2002 intruder vs800 in june it only had 5800 miles on it and I love it. But the former owner put a set of shinko tires on it. they have to be the worst ones made lean the least bit hard and slide like hell!!!! So I just bought a set of Metzler 888 ultras they will be mounted Monday and I hope they handle well. Wish me luck.Danny | |

| I recently changed the stock tyres to AvonCobra 72's and was amazed how much different the bike feels. Never really thought tyres could be so different. Good Luck with yours. | |

| I don't understand why anyone would fit cheap tyres to a vehicle, especially a bike. They are the only thing that keeps you connected to the road Good luck with the new rubber | |

| When my eldest lad raced karts, we use to check tyre pressures before and after any session and alter them to the conditions. we would work to 1/2 lb psi and it made a genuine and measurable difference in lap times, grip etc.. How often do we do the same for our road bikes/ cars? Not nearly often enough I would guess. | |

Good luck with the new rubber A thousand times this ^^^ Cheap shitty rubber is the short cut to face planting the tarmac, what's wrong with these people ? They should be flogged with a smelly wellie

| The tires were mounted this morning, rode about 50 miles to break them in then started to ride hard .The 888's handle very well it is nice to lean hard and not worry about sliding !!!! I think I will be very happy with the metzlers. | |

Had the 880's on mine and couldn't fault them, I heard they'd (metzeler) had switched production to Brazil from Germany and the quality had gone down, not sure when that was though?
