Dear Intruder owners,

I ride a 2013 M800 in Pakistan. As roads are not very clean here, some times it is unavoidable to ride through mud on country roads especially in the Monsoon season. I have realized that the mud guard inside the rear fender does not fully cover the wheel thus leaving a space from where the mud or rain water can be splashed over into the rear shock well, underneath the battery compartment, the fuse box, secondary ignition coils and much more.

Is there a DIY / fix for this. I have been thinking of attaching a flexible rubber lining (made from a used car tube) to form a sort of curtain.

Pls share your experience and suggestion with pics if any mods already done to avoid the mud.

Thank you
Rehan
