This has probably been asked countless times so forgive me if it has. Im looking to install a set of apes on my 2015 C800. Ive seen on various facebook pages that all stock cables etc will still work for up to 12 inch apes but recently came across another post stating this was only true for models 2007 and older. Does this mean they shortened the cables for newer models? Has anyone fitted apes to a 2015 without having to replace cables etc? Thanks in advance

Mine is a 2006 and just made it with risers. I believe they were shorter for 2007-8 on. ?

Reluctant to order anything then the cables end up being way too short. Not sure what costs are involved in lengthening cables and electrics

2009 the cables were shortened.
