| So I've been searching, but I figured you guys would have the answer. Can a person replace the rear fender of a VZ800 Marauder with the rear fender of a C800 Intruder? I'm not a big fan of the flared fender! | |

| Hmmmm that's a tricky one! I guess one critical factor would be the centres between the fender side rails. If you get chance, measure yours, post it here, then hopefully someone with the C800 will check if it's the same. If it was compatible, you might have to extend the wiring to the rear light, which obviously sits quite high in the flared tail of the VZ (assuming thats the same as the M800 here), but would sit a little lower with the fender you prefer swooping downwards. Just my 5c worth | |

| It can easily be done on the 2000+ models, it's is just a matter of swapping the plastic mudguard and internal frame over and then extending and splicing in the wires. However As you have a 98 VZ it is quite possible that there could be a difference between the rails as pointed out by Mal which we are unaware of. Again as Mal suggested, measure the space and I will do the same. | |

| Sounds great. When I get a chance, I'll get out there. Pretty busy day today. | |
