You'll look real cool with your feet up there! Will they be black to match?

I'm not sure these will either Crash ? I've bought the cheapest ones I could find just to try them and modify if needed. No Bluesman (John) I went for chrome with a black rubber inlay for a contrast to the black bars.

| Just been out and had a sit on my bike & I have the same issue as Crash had with highway pegs. Great for the left but I would need to have a right leg that was bowed to use one on that side with my bars as well. Hopefully your setup will be fine If you do have an issue Sim you could always think about either replacing the air filter or reducing the stock one in depth by an 1.5" possibly, HHHHMMMMM now thats got me thinking | |

| I have same trouble with the Volusia. I have little legs 29 inside leg. and the air box is a pain at times. No idea how I can get over this problem apart from grow! | |

| I too have short legs and have the same airbox and crash bar problem. I also find that the foot brake also obstructs the crash bar at what may be a comfortable location to mount the pegs. I have found that some people have attached the highway peg to the outside of the footboard using a modded right angle metal bracket.
I've just been out to the bike and this location seems perfect for me. No need to negotiate the airbox or stretch out to reach the crash bars. It seems like a very straightforward mod.
I have ordered the same pegs as Simbo and when I complete the mod I will post pictures. The only issue I foresee is the pegs scraping on the road when cornering however due to the location they should be easily flipped up when required. If you remember that is !
